My buddy Mark paid 35 euros for a Naples pickup last year. The driver stopped for gas twice and tried to charge him extra for the highway toll. They argued for twenty minutes in a parking lot before he just got out and called a real taxi. It felt like a hostage situation, not a ride.

That's the thing with these cheap deals, they're never really done. You agree to one price but they always find a way to add more fees later. It just makes you feel like a mark.
