Spent 6 hours hand washing my girlfriends car on Saturday and she didn't even notice
She asked me to use the drive-through wash because it's cheaper and faster. I got the damn ceramic wax layer right and everything, took me all afternoon. Has anyone else put in way more effort than a budget job needed and just got ignored?

That damn shame @grantmartinez said is right on. But honestly, did she really just not look at it for two seconds or did she see the ceramic finish and just not say anything because she thought that was the cheap wash? I'd be curious if she actually walked past it and missed the hard work or if she's just pretending not to notice to avoid admitting the drive-through idea wasn't better.
