Question about the guy who told me my coffee break was a waste of time
He said, 'You could be answering emails right now,' while I was just trying to enjoy my five minutes in the break room. Has anyone else had a coworker who just doesn't get the point of a break?

Oh man, that's the worst. My old boss used to hover by the microwave, asking if I'd finished the weekly report yet. Some people just don't get that you need to step away to actually get work done.

Yeah, I read something about how constant check-ins actually kill focus. It said our brains need like 20 minutes just to get back into a task after an interruption. So your boss asking about the report probably made you take even longer to finish it, right?
