That $80 dice tower I bought off Etsy was a complete dud
I spent $80 on a handcrafted dice tower from a seller in Ohio and it arrived with the paint already chipping off the edges. The wood was supposed to be walnut but it looks like cheap stained pine. Has anyone else had better luck with plastic towers or should I just go back to rolling dice in the box lid?

Did your friend file a claim? I had a buddy get a similar handcrafted tower from some seller and it arrived warped and the stain was uneven, he got a partial refund after sending photos. He just uses a plastic tube now and says it works fine, the cheap ones actually hold up better than you'd think.

Totally changed my mind after a similar experience. I was all about handcrafted wooden stuff thinking it was better quality but my $50 tower from some local guy came with uneven gaps and the felt liner already peeling off after a week. Swapped to a basic plastic tower from Amazon for like 20 bucks and it rolls fine, no chips or wobble after months of use. Makes me wonder if the whole handcrafted premium is just paying for the look not the function. Have you tried just going back to the box lid method yet or are you set on a tower?
