Serious question, do you ever just stare at your to-do list and pick the worst thing first?

I mean, I had to choose between starting my day with a bunch of easy emails or tackling this one big, ugly report that's been hanging over me for a week. I picked the report. It took me about three hours straight, and I didn't even look at my phone. Honestly, it felt awful while I was doing it, like pulling teeth. But once it was done, around 11 AM, the rest of my day felt so much lighter. The smaller tasks just flew by because that heavy feeling was gone. I'm not saying it's a magic fix, but for me, getting the worst part over with changed how I handle my whole workload. Has anyone else tried this 'eat the frog' thing and actually had it work, or does it just ruin your morning?

Pulling teeth" is my default mode before coffee.

Used to hate mornings, but a sunrise walk changed that for me.

Ugh, I admire your ability to eat that frog.
