Used to think the same thing until I tried making crispy roasted potatoes from scratch. Toss some chopped potatoes with a little oil, salt, and rosemary, then air fry them. They come out with a perfect crunchy outside and a fluffy inside that beats any oven version. That one recipe totally changed how I see my air fryer.

So you're telling me the secret is to start from raw potatoes? I've been using frozen fries this whole time like a total rookie. No wonder my results look more steamed than crispy. Maybe I should actually read the manual that came with the thing.

Wait you can get them CRISPY in an air fryer? Mine always come out kinda soggy no matter what I do!
