Shoutout to silicone liners for saving my bacon literally

Spent $12 on a set of silicone air fryer liners last month after burning through three batches of chicken wings. They catch all the grease and cleanup takes 30 seconds instead of scrubbing the basket. Anyone else use these or just stick with parchment paper?

Does that $12 set come with multiple sizes or just the one? Been tempted but worried they'd mess with air flow and make stuff less crispy.

Worry less about air flow @jesse_williams62, half the silicone stuff I've tried gets floppy and traps steam anyway.

The whole "traps steam" thing is real. @emmawood nailed it - floppy silicone just holds moisture against the food and you lose any crunch. I've tossed a few baskets for that reason. Get one with a rigid metal frame that has silicone feet or a thin silicone coating instead. The cheap all-silicone ones sag in the middle after a few uses, especially at higher temps. Look for something where the holes actually go all the way through, not just dimpled bumps. That airflow difference is night and day for crispy results.
