Can we talk about air fryer chicken wings? I tried a new method last night.

I followed a recipe from a blog that said to cook them at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, but they came out a bit dry. I think I should have tossed them in oil first, or maybe lowered the temp. What's your go-to time and temp for crispy wings?

Yeah 400 for 20 minutes is definitely the dry zone lol. I do 380 for about 22 minutes, but the key is tossing them in a little baking powder with the oil and salt first. It pulls moisture to the surface so the skin gets way crispier without needing super high heat. I flip them halfway through and they come out perfect every time.

Baking powder? You're putting that on chicken? That sounds like a chemistry experiment, not dinner. I just toss mine in a little oil and seasoning, crank it to 390, and shake the basket every 8 minutes or so. Takes about 24 minutes total and they're never dry. The skin gets plenty crispy without adding weird pantry stuff.

Honestly that baking powder trick is a game changer. Tried it last week and the wings got way crispier without drying out.
