Funny how using an old camera makes you focus on the basics instead of relying on auto-everything. It's like driving a manual car after years of automatic, you actually have to pay attention. That forced slowdown probably made you notice the light and angles more than any fancy setting would. Plus, there's less pressure to get the perfect shot when you're not worrying about all the bells and whistles. Makes me wonder if we've all been duped into thinking better gear equals better photos.
