Unpopular opinion: Trying to impress a date with homemade pasta led to a flour explosion

So I invited this person over for a casual dinner and thought making fresh pasta would be a cool idea, even though I'd only seen it done online. I got out my rolling pin and started kneading, but I guess I added too much water or something because the dough was super sticky. In my rush to fix it, I flung a handful of flour right into the air, and it poofed everywhere, coating my kitchen, my hair, and even the cat who wandered in. My date showed up early and walked into what looked like a snow globe disaster zone, with me standing there covered in white powder. We both laughed it off, but the pasta turned out gummy and weird, so we ended up ordering pizza instead. I kept finding flour in weird places for days, like behind the microwave and on top of the fridge. It was a funny mess, but it made the whole night more memorable than if everything had gone perfect.
