Labeling my part drawers saved me so much time today

Actually, that satisfying work buys the mental peace joseph_ellis85 mentioned.

My sister and I set up a chatbot to end our debates, but it started picking favorites.

Did you catch that article on AI bias in training data? It said that bots often copy the biases in the data they're fed, like favoring certain talking styles. So williamb29 is right that it's code, but the code is just repeating messed up human data. Calling it a glitch makes it sound like an accident, but sometimes the data is just broken from the start. We have to clean the data, not just point at the bot.

The simple morning chat that cut our do-overs in half

Tell me about it... I once spent half a day pressure washing a driveway only to realize the homeowner wanted the patio done first, and I had to move all my gear and start over. That kind of morning chat saves so much headache, it's stupid not to do it. You feel like a fool for not doing it sooner, but man does it make the day go better. Just getting everyone looking at the same starting point changes everything.

A traditional artist laughed at my digital portrait

There's actually a fair point buried under the rude delivery. A digital undo button or a perfect gradient tool removes the physical risk and mastery of a real brushstroke. The struggle with permanent materials, where every mark counts, builds a different kind of skill. Calling it fake is harsh, but the ease of digital can make the final product feel disconnected from traditional craft. That handmade, one-of-a-kind object has a value a screen file just can't match.
