Exotic flowers bring in sales, but local ones are better for the planet. Which side are you on for your shop?

Exotic flowers really do draw people in. I remember buying these tropical heliconias for a party once, shipped from Hawaii. They looked amazing but shed pollen everywhere and died quickly. My mom's peonies from her backyard, though, filled the house for days and felt more special. It's like the flashy option isn't always the most satisfying one in the end.

Pro tip: A bench scraper is my favorite kitchen tool for prep work

I mean I get why you said it moves food fast, but the real pro tip is that scraper part. It's not just for pushing stuff around, it's for getting every last bit off the cutting board. Like when you mince garlic or herbs, you just scrape it all up clean. Honestly I use mine for dividing dough way more than cleaning the counter.

Explaining my job to kids always leads to the funniest questions

Look at the shingles slide question from a kid's view. It's not about being funny, it's about making sense of a weird adult thing. That's where the real fun is, lol.

I finally got why my local park run group is all about audio documentaries now

so good! Yeah it totally changes how you see the place. I listened to that episode last week and now I hear them every single night, rustling around the bins. My trash cans are proof. The lids are always halfway off in the morning. Once you know, you can't not see the signs. You're gonna be obsessed.

Rewatching classic shonen series has me questioning the filler episode norm.

During the Water 7 saga, I fast-forwarded through so much padding it felt like a chore. It completely ruins the tension @lisa_morgan mentioned, especially when you're invested in the plot. Why do studios think we have time for that?
