inPSA: My brother's idea for tile pattern in our mom's kitchen was wild
Yeah the backsplash idea is smart. I've seen this a lot where one person loves a crazy tile. Using it just in a shower niche or on a single bathroom accent wall usually makes both people happy. It gives that pop without overwhelming the whole room. I mean, you still get to enjoy the pattern but it won't be something you regret later.

inUsed to swear by searing meat. Not after my latest pot roast. Juicier without it.
Skipping the sear totally makes sense since, like skyler_lewis45 said, the liquid does all the real work anyway.

inAlways left my bed messy, but tidying it up this morning felt surprisingly good.
Wait, you only just did that for the first time this morning? That's actually wild to me. My mom was a total drill sergeant about it, so I've been making mine since I was like, five. Feels weirdly official now, like the day can actually start.

inPSA: Got pushed to use bent couplers on a tight deadline
Oh, 'slightly bent couplers are fine,' huh? What's next, using duct tape for structural support? I love how deadlines suddenly make bad ideas sound reasonable. Do we get a bonus if the building leans more than the Tower of Pisa? Or is that just considered a design feature now?
