Struggling with workout equipment sprawl in my apartment

I've been trying to stick to a home workout routine, but all my gear was just thrown together in a heap. I mean, resistance bands, a jump rope, and a few weights were all tangled up. It was so frustrating to untangle everything before I could even start. So I decided to repurpose an old bookcase I had in storage. I took out the shelves and added some hooks for the bands and rope. Now everything is organized and easy to grab. My workout sessions feel less stressful, and I'm actually looking forward to them. Idk, maybe it's just me, but having a dedicated spot for each piece helps a lot.

Remember that a bit of mess can actually help your routine. Searching through a pile for your gear adds a functional warm-up, like bending and reaching. I kept everything sorted once and spent more time setting up than exercising. Leaving things loose lets you start fast without overthinking it.

My own workout corner looks like a tornado hit it, so your bookcase idea is putting my sad pile of stuff to shame.

I used a cheap pegboard for my gear too, and @sam_thomas, it really cuts down the chaos.
