inExotic flowers bring in sales, but local ones are better for the planet. Which side are you on for your shop?
Disagree hard on this one lol. Sometimes that flashy, messy, short lived experience is the whole point. Those heliconias from Hawaii gave your party a story and a vibe regular flowers never could. Peonies are nice but they don't make people stop and go "whoa what are those". The hassle and the pollen are part of the memory, and that temporary wow factor can be way more satisfying than something safe and dependable from the backyard.

inMy barber's morning gripe got me to change our setup routine.
Seriously, that's so annoying. It points to a bigger pattern I've seen where folks just adapt to thoughtless actions because complaining feels useless. We end up training ourselves to tolerate noise and mess instead of pushing back. This shows up with loud music, blocking driveways, all sorts of daily irritations. Over time, the person causing the trouble wins by default since everyone else changes their habits. It's a slow shift where shared respect breaks down because no one wants to confront the issue head on.

inMy grandpa's copper pipe joints were works of art, now it's all push-fit
Why would you use quick fittings at all? I solder every joint, even the hidden ones. That extra minute with a torch means I never worry about leaks later. Those push-fit things feel like a shortcut that could bite you. If a method works, why change it halfway through a job?

inMy tools are still sticky from that foam job, so I skip it now
Oh wow, you're not alone with the foam nightmare! I had a similar mess where it coated my entire toolbox, and we had to use solvents for days. For big gaps like @rubys80 asked about, I layer batting first and then caulk over it to lock it in place. It might be old school, but it never fails or leaves me scraping tools off the floor.

inStruggling with workout equipment sprawl in my apartment
I used a cheap pegboard for my gear too, and @sam_thomas, it really cuts down the chaos.
