A new worker showed me why questions matter

I used to think the new guys asking lots of questions were just in the way. But last week, one of them saw a flaw in the sand mold that I missed. It would have made a bad cast. Now I make sure to listen to them, because they can spot things we old timers overlook.

Describe the flaw he caught.

He pointed out the math error in the third step of the proof. That one wrong number threw off the whole calculation, so the conclusion didn't hold up. Honestly, it's wild nobody else saw it.

The wrong number in step three, was it a rounding error or a totally wrong digit? Nathan's catch shows how one slip ruins the whole thing. Makes you question the review process before it got posted. Why do you think everyone else read right past it?
