Had to choose between two trucks at the downtown festival yesterday

I mean, the line for 'Big Mike's Bistro' was way shorter, but I'd heard 'La Catrina' had the best carnitas in the city. I went with La Catrina and waited 45 minutes, but idk, maybe it's just me but the tacos were kinda dry. Has anyone else tried both and felt the same way?

Skylerrobinson is onto something with that switch, because La Catrina's quality really dipped after they opened the second location. My last visit tasted like they rushed the carnitas and didn't let the meat braise long enough. It's a shame when a favorite spot changes for the worse.

I used to swear by La Catrina but Big Mike's carnitas last month totally changed my mind.

Big Mike's carnitas? That place has been closed for like two years. You sure you didn't get that from a food truck or something?
