Update: I just read that most people actually prefer roses over wildflowers for weddings

I found this in a big flower industry report from last month. It said over 60% of couples still pick roses as their main wedding flower. I always pushed for more local wildflower arrangements because I thought they were more popular now. Has anyone else seen this data and still think we should focus less on roses?

That report is just industry numbers, not what couples actually ask for. I still book way more wildflower weddings than rose ones.

Yeah, I saw a blog post from a wedding planner last week that said the same thing! She wrote that roses are a safe choice for a lot of people, so they show up in the big surveys, but when she talks to couples one-on-one, they're way more excited about unique local blooms. It makes sense that the industry report would lean traditional.

Totally agree about the one-on-one thing, my friend who does flowers says the same as @nancynguyen lol. People just want something cool and personal.
