I thought those online flower subscription boxes were just a fad
Back when they started popping up, I figured no one would want flowers shipped in a box instead of buying local. Then a client in Austin told me she gets a monthly box for her office, and it's actually fresh stuff from small farms. I tried one myself last spring, and the ranunculus lasted almost two weeks. Changed how I source some of my own filler greens now. Anyone else start using these for their shop, or do you still avoid them?

Ngl it's just flowers at the end of the day. They show up, they look nice for a bit, then they die. Changing your whole business over some ranunculus that lasted seems like a lot. The local shop down the street works fine for me and I know what I'm getting. Seems like an extra step for the same result.

Susan_bell, three days is not "a bit"... that's barely any time at all. A week of flowers feels like a real treat, not a quick flash. Calling that the same result just doesn't make sense to me.

Wait, what do you mean by "the same result"? The whole point is the local shop flowers wilt in like three days. These last over a week, easy. That's not the same at all. You're paying for more time to enjoy them.
