Squirrel snagged my pitch deck at a park networking thing
Was at this new pop-up entrepreneur meet in the park. A squirrel grabbed my stack of cards and ran up a tree. I had to give my elevator speech while pointing at the branches.
Squirrels moving up from stealing birdseed to venture capital is a wild career pivot. After what @the_mila said about the geese and the printouts, I guess paper is the new snack for ambitious park wildlife. That squirrel probably has your deck in its nest right now, judging your market analysis. The startup scene is getting way too literal with the term "angel investor" when the feedback is coming from a rodent.
So, did the geese actually eat the printouts or just ruin them? Paper isn't normal food for them, so that's weird. Maybe the ink or leftover crumbs drew them in.
