Had to pick between a cheap hot air station and a decent one...

Last month my old hot air station finally died mid-repair on a laptop in Austin. I was staring at a $35 no-name on Amazon or a $150 Quick 861DW, and I cheaped out... big mistake. The cheap one couldn't even hold temp for more than 30 seconds before dropping 20 degrees, and I ended up frying a board I'd spent 3 hours diagnosing. Anyone else learned this lesson the hard way?

Whoa hold up, maybe it's actually a sign they need to rethink their workflow instead of blaming the universe. Three times in one week sounds like more than bad luck to me.

Diana said 'I feel your pain' but then I saw the part about it happening THREE times in one week? Wait, I gotta ask - you mean this exact same thing happened on Monday, then again on Wednesday, and then AGAIN on Friday? That's just brutal. Like the universe decided to personally mess with your schedule every single day. I can barely handle one of those days, let alone a whole week of them. How did you not just walk out and never come back after round two?
