Debate time: I dropped $300 on a collapsible drywall lift for a solo basement job. Some guys say it's a lifesaver, others say it's a waste if you have a good partner. What's your take?

Oh man, that lift is worth every single penny. I did a whole ceiling by myself last year and I would have quit without it. Trying to muscle a full sheet overhead with just a buddy is a great way to hurt your back and start a fight. The lift lets you take your time and get it right.
