Just realized the worst part is it happened on a Sunday. Good luck finding a plumber or even getting parts today.

Tell me about it. Had my water heater give up the ghost on a holiday Monday last year, and it was a total nightmare. Spent hours just trying to find someone who would even answer the phone. You end up paying the "weekend emergency" fee, which is basically a "your life is ruined" tax.

My neighbor's emergency call last month cost him a flat $300 just to show up. That's before they even looked at the pipe. It feels like getting robbed with a smile.
