Unpopular opinion: Chiang Mai is overrated for digital nomads
I spent three months in Chiang Mai last year and honestly, I don't get the hype. The internet was fine most days, but the air quality got really bad in March, and I had to stay inside for two weeks. Coworking spaces like Pun Space are packed and noisy, not the productive vibe people describe. Has anyone else found it harder to focus there than they expected?

Man, I had the exact same experience except I somehow managed to pick the one coworking spot that had a guy blasting lofi remixes of baby shark on repeat for three days straight. Honestly thought I was developing some kind of noise-induced superpower where I could finally focus through anything, but nope, just got really good at daydreaming about fresh air. The air quality thing is no joke though, I spent one week wearing a mask indoors and convincing myself it was a fashion choice. Tbh if I hear one more person say Chiang Mai is a digital nomad paradise I'm gonna throw my laptop into the Ping River and call it a productivity hack.
