Shoutout to the cheap coworking spot in Medellin that saved my project
I was stuck between a fancy $300 a month coworking space with all the bells and whistles and a basic $80 a month spot in El Poblado. I went with the cheap one for a month. The internet was just as fast, the coffee was better, and I actually met three people who became real clients. The expensive place felt like a showroom, but the cheap one had people who were actually working. Has anyone else found that the simpler coworking spots are better for getting things done?

Yeah, the "constant chatter" thing is weirdly productive.

What made the chatter work for you?

Oh man, this hits home. I tried one of those super sleek spots in Lisbon last year and it was just dead, everyone in their own little bubble with noise cancelling headphones. Ended up at this cramped place above a bakery that cost half as much, and the constant chatter from the cafe downstairs somehow made it easier to focus. Funny how that works.
