Overheard a couple at a cafe in Lisbon debating 'home base' setups
One was saying they keep a tiny apartment in Prague just for mail and storage, which costs about 300 euros a month. It made me reconsider if I need a permanent address at all anymore. How do you all handle official paperwork and having stuff you can't carry?

Read about a service that scans and emails your physical mail for a monthly fee.

But what about your driver's license or voting? Those digital mail services are fine for junk, but some places need a real physical address. I use my sister's place for that stuff. Paying for an empty apartment just for mail seems like a huge waste of money every single month. You could just put a small storage unit in a cheap town and use that address.
