Burned out after 2 years of coworking spaces in Bali
I thought hopping cafes and coworking spots was the dream. Then I realized I was spending $15 a day on coffee and snacks just to have a seat. My productivity actually dropped because I kept moving around and chatting. The moment it hit me was when I added up a full month of expenses and saw I paid $450 just for desk access and lattes. Renting a simple room with a solid desk in Canggu cost me $200 a month and I got twice as much done. Anyone else find that settling down in one spot beats the cafe nomad life?

$450 a month just for desk space and coffee drinks? That made me blink twice. A simple room rental in Canggu with a proper desk for $200 sounds like the actual hack there. Four hundred fifty dollars could cover a nice little studio in cheaper parts of Southeast Asia for two months easily.

Wait, $450 for just desk space and coffee? You could get a whole apartment with a pool and coworking membership for less than that in Chiang Mai or Da Nang. That's wild.
