Serious question, has anyone else had a client ask for a 'more 3D' look on a 2D vector logo and then try to explain it by spinning a coffee mug around?

I spent a whole Tuesday trying to interpret 'make it pop off the screen, but flat' for a bakery logo in Denver, and my only real direction was watching them rotate their latte mug on our Zoom call... how do you even price that hour?

Disagree, that mug spin was pure genius... @skylerrobinson missed the vision.

Honestly, I used to agree with skylerrobinson, but cameronn62 has a point.

Spinning a coffee mug is a new one. That's the worst kind of direction. Price it as the 'vague concept interpretation' hour. Costs extra.
