Wasted $200 on a cheap injector puller kit last month
Bought one of those no-name injector puller kits off Amazon for my 6.0 Powerstroke and the slide hammer broke on the third pull. The threaded adapter actually snapped off inside the injector bore and I had to spend half a day drilling it out. Anybody got a brand recommendation for a puller that won't leave you stranded?

Ever notice how the cheap version of anything always costs you more in the end? I've seen the same thing happen with people buying discount tools for their trucks. My neighbor bought a cheap torque wrench from Harbor Freight and it snapped on his first oil change. Had to pay a shop $150 to extract the broken piece. You'd think we'd learn by now but there's something about seeing that $40 price tag that overrides common sense.

That neighbor of yours... did he at least check the reviews on that Harbor Freight wrench before buying it, or did he just see the low price and grab it off the shelf? I've found that with tools especially, a quick look at what other guys are saying can save you from a bad buy. But sometimes people just want that instant fix without doing the homework first.
