Serious question, my kid's teacher asked me about DEF at parent night

Was totally caught off guard when she brought up diesel exhaust fluid during a chat about school projects. It made me see how diesel stuff comes up in weird social moments now.

At my cousin's wedding in Ohio, someone started talking about diesel particulate filters over cocktails. It was so random, like who brings that up at a wedding? I guess once you own a diesel truck, it just becomes part of your small talk. Now I always have a quick DEF explanation ready for these moments.

But honestly, @webb.ben, are we acting like diesel filters are the weirdest wedding chat? I've heard folks debate lawn care at funerals and argue about sports stats at baby showers. People just latch onto what they know. It's not that deep, man. If someone wants to talk DEF over cocktails, let them. At least it's not another political rant.
