My rain barrel setup is already paying off this week
After putting it together last weekend, I used the collected water for my plants today. It's a small thing, but cutting down on tap water feels like a win. Have you tried any simple swaps at home lately?

Read an article that said rainwater is actually BETTER for plants than tap, which is pretty cool. Sounds like you and @the_nathan are both figuring out those little home hacks.

That rain barrel idea is smart, makes me think of when I tried composting last year. Got one of those countertop buckets for food scraps, but man, figuring out the brown-to-green ratio was a whole thing. Ended up with a soggy mess more than once, lol. Felt good when it finally worked though, like you said, a small win.
