My cat knocked over the compost bin and I'm not even mad
It made me SEE that pushing pets into our green habits isn't always a good idea. His mess was FUNNIER than worrying about bags.

Maybe we should just let pets be pets sometimes.

Exactly, we overcomplicate things. A tired dog is a happy dog, so just give them a good walk and some basic training. That's usually all they really need.

What about the pets that seem to want a job, though? My neighbor's dog goes nuts if she doesn't get her puzzle toys, @nancythomas. Some of them really do need that extra brain work to be happy.
