A warning about those new catnip mice from the pet store
Okay, I need to share what happened with my cat Jasper this week. I picked up a pack of those little felt mice from PetSmart, the ones with the extra strong catnip. Jasper went absolutely nuts for about an hour, which was funny at first. But then he got this wild look in his eyes and started hiding them all over the house. I found one in my shoe, two under the couch, and one in the utensil drawer. The real problem was last night when I woke up to a weird noise. He had dragged one into my bed and was bunny-kicking it right next to my head at 3 AM. I'm talking full-on midnight zoomies in the sheets. Has anyone else's pet gone from cute playtime to tiny nighttime terrorist with a specific toy?

My friend's cat stashed a catnip fish in her purse and she found it at work.

How is that even a surprise? Cats are tiny furry thieves. Mine steals socks and hides them under the couch. A purse is just another hiding spot to them. Finding a catnip fish at work is basically a normal Tuesday with a cat.
