Hot take: Those "5 minute doodles" people post are clearly traced or took way longer

Was scrolling through the sub yesterday and saw a super clean dragon sketch tagged as a "quick 3 minute warmup" - c'mon man, I drew a stick figure dog in 5 mins and it looked like a potato with legs lol. Anyone else get tired of people faking the messy doodle vibe?

Honest to god, the tracing thing gets me too. Saw a dude post a "30 second gesture drawing" of a horse and the lines were so clean and perfect it looked like he just traced over a photo on a tablet. I bet a lot of those "loose sketch" styles are just people using a stabilizer tool or a lazy susan trick, then cropping out the setup time. The real irony is those fake messy doodles kill the vibe for people who are actually trying to learn and improve.

That tracing horse one is just sad because real gesture drawing is supposed to look ugly and loose.

Bet the people posting those "quick doodles" are also the ones who complain about AI art bots flooding the site.
