Drew my first decent hand today after 20 tries
Been doodling cats and trees for months but hands always came out like alien claws. Finally got the thumb joint to look right on scrap paper at lunch, now I can't stop redrawing it.

was never really into the whole ritual thing, tbh. thought it was all kinda silly at first. but then I saw someone explain how just setting aside real time and space for your art changes things. like building a little ceremony around it actually makes your brain treat it differently. it kinda clicked for me after that.
