Showerthought: My kid's friend said they just use their birthday for all their passwords
Honestly, it was a birthday party last weekend and I heard a 12-year-old say that. It made me realize how many adults probably do the same basic thing without thinking. What's a better way to explain password managers to someone who isn't techy at all?

Losing a social media account might be fine, but what about your bank login? That's a bigger problem.

Digital keychain" sounds nice but is it really that big a deal? Most people just have a few sites they use. If your email gets hacked, you reset it. The worst that happens is you lose a social media account, which honestly might be good for you lol. Password managers feel like solving a problem that isn't there for normal folks.
