My $50 password manager subscription felt like a waste until my email got hit

I signed up for it three years ago because my brother kept bugging me about reusing passwords. Forgot about the yearly charge until my bank statement showed it. Then last month, some old forum I used got hacked and my main email address was in the leak. The manager flagged it, I changed that password and every other one that was similar, and nothing else got touched. Anyone have a cheaper option that works just as well?

@mia_hart90 what made you pick it over other free ones?

Honestly my brain just gave up trying to remember all those different passwords. Bitwarden was the first one I tried that didn't feel like a chore to set up. Mia_hart90 gets it, sometimes you just need the thing that works without overthinking it. My tech skills are basically "turn it off and on again," so I needed something simple. Still shocked I haven't locked myself out of my own life yet.
