Unpopular opinion: I posted a 45-second video with no hashtags last Friday

I was testing the algorithm and just uploaded a clip of my painting process, expecting maybe 50 views. It got over 2,000 views in the first hour and a bunch of new followers. Has anyone else seen better results by just posting the content without any extra stuff?

Come on, that's just a lucky fluke. The algorithm is random and your next video will probably bomb. You should always use hashtags to give your content a real chance.

My last video blew up without any hashtags at all. The key was making the first three seconds really hook people. I focused on a clear problem and jumped right into the fix.
