I picked a free plan over a paid one for my new project

I mean, I had to choose between starting my new podcast with a free hosting plan or going straight for the $15 a month option. I went with the free one for the first 3 episodes, just to see if I'd stick with it. Honestly, it went fine, the uploads were a bit slower but it worked. Now I'm thinking about upgrading because I want the analytics feature. Has anyone else started free and then switched later? How did you decide when it was time?

My friend did that with her baking blog photos (she used a free editing app for months). The free filters were fine, but she finally paid for the app just to remove the watermark from her pictures. It was that one small annoyance that finally got her. Sometimes you don't miss the fancy features until a tiny limitation bugs you every single day.

My cousin Mark ran into this with a free video editor last year. He made short clips for his band, and the free version put a tiny logo in the corner. After about fifty videos, he said that logo felt like someone was always tapping him on the shoulder. He finally paid just to make it stop. It's exactly what you're saying, @robinson.hannah, that one little thing you see over and over just wears you down. You put up with it until you can't stand it anymore.
