Just read that Agatha Christie wrote over 60 novels while dealing with dysgraphia, a writing disorder. Found that in a random article about authors with learning differences.

It's wild how often the biggest creative work comes from fighting through a personal barrier. Maybe it's just me but I see that pattern everywhere, not just with famous writers. The friend who's an amazing cook but hates the noise of a busy kitchen, or someone who builds beautiful things while dealing with shaky hands. It's like the struggle itself shapes what gets made in a unique way.

Lean into that friction because it forces you to solve problems in new ways.

Oh perfect, so my constant battle with a broken coffee maker is actually a creative goldmine. I guess my shaky hands this morning weren't a problem, they were just adding "unique character" to the wall I was painting. Next time my keyboard sticks, I'll just tell myself it's forcing a more minimalist typing style.
