Just blew $400 on a 'weatherproof' radio headset that died in a light drizzle
The sales guy swore it was perfect for tower crane work, but the mic cut out after 20 minutes in some mist last Tuesday. Anyone know a brand that actually holds up when it's damp?

Ugh, that's brutal. Just a heads up, "weatherproof" and "waterproof" aren't the same thing. You need something with an actual IP rating, like IP67, for real water resistance. Look for that on the box next time.

Sales guy probably thinks "weatherproof" means it works if you're watching the weather channel indoors. Classic.
