My old Conair steamer lasted five years before it gave out. Check if the brand has a warranty you can claim through their website. What did the seller say when you contacted them?

My buddy Mark bought a Conair steamer that died after eight months. He called their customer service and they just told him to mail it in at his own cost. He ended up buying a different brand instead.
