Swapped my old framing hammer for a 15oz stiletto last spring

I used to swing a 22oz Estwing all day and my elbow was shot by 2pm. Picked up a titanium stiletto on a job in Cincinnati after a guy let me try his and I finished a 10 hour day without any pain. Any of you guys switch to lighter hammers and notice a big difference in your joints?

Yeah but you're trading shock for hand fatigue. A lighter hammer needs more swing speed to drive a nail which means more muscles firing all day long. My buddy switched to a Stiletto and ended up with tendonitis in his wrist from all that extra motion.

Same pattern everywhere, everyone's swapping heavy stuff for light and paying for it somewhere else.
