Spent 45 minutes looking for my keys and they were in the fridge next to the milk

I was running late for a dentist appointment last Tuesday and tore my whole apartment apart trying to find my car keys. Finally gave up and grabbed a drink from the fridge, and there they were sitting on the shelf right next to the orange juice. Has anyone else done something this dumb when you're in a hurry?

Dropped my phone in the trash can once while fishing out a receipt and didn't realize it until I heard it buzzing three hours later under some coffee grounds. Honestly, the stress just rewires your brain or something. @sandraflores, nah I think we all just get single-minded when we're late and stop seeing what's actually in front of us. Tbh, a cheap Tile tracker on my keychain saved me from this exact kind of madness, best ten bucks I ever spent.
