Shoutout to local comic book groups that focus on mental wellness

I've been into comics since I was a kid, and they really help when I'm feeling down. After a rough day, diving into a Batman graphic novel takes my mind off things. For example, seeing characters overcome bad situations gives me hope. But I want to connect with more fans who use comics for their mental health. Does anyone know of clubs or online chats where we talk about this stuff? I'd like to hear how others make comic time part of feeling better. Any advice on starting a small group would be great too.

That library tip is solid. Mine has a big community board right by the entrance with flyers for everything from hiking clubs to book groups. The staff at the front desk usually know about regular meetups too, sometimes they even host them in the community room. Always worth asking. Getting a card while you're there never hurts either.
