Tried working from a laundromat cafe in Boise for a week and got way more done than at my usual spot
My regular coffee shop got packed with a tour group last Monday so I walked two blocks to a little cafe attached to a laundromat on State Street. The dryers hum in this low steady way and nobody talks to you, and I knocked out a whole week of invoices in about 3 hours. I always figured I needed some quiet corner with soft jazz, but the background noise here just blends into nothing after 10 minutes. Now I'm wondering if I've been picking the wrong spots this whole time. What's the weirdest place you've actually gotten good work done at?
