My stubbornness cost me years of bad coffee. I argued they were a single-use gadget for people with too much money. Now I use mine twice a day and it's embarrassing. Why do we dig our heels in on the dumbest hills? The foam is really good, I have to admit.

You were right the first time. Those things are a total waste of counter space for one trick. The foam is just hot bubbles, and it's cheaper to get a good coffee from a shop once a week than own another appliance.
