Stuck on a CSS grid bug for way too long last night

I was building a simple photo gallery layout and my grid items kept overlapping weirdly. Ended up spending over 4 hours debugging before I realized I forgot to set box-sizing to border-box on my images. Anyone else have a silly coding mistake that ate up hours unexpectedly?

Four hours on box-sizing? That's rough, but honestly, most CSS bugs aren't that deep. Just add a global reset at the top of your stylesheet and you save yourself this headache every time. Overthinking one property is the real time sink here.
