Visited the old Bridgeport plant in Bridgeport last month

I took a tour of the old Bridgeport plant in Connecticut last month. It was weird seeing the place where they used to make those big knee mills just sitting empty. There were still some old tooling marks on the concrete floors. Made me wonder how many thousands of parts got made in that building before they shut down. Anyone else visited a place where a machine tool company used to operate?

Did you ever think those old factory floors had more stories than we give them credit for? I used to think old industrial sites were just abandoned junk, but seeing the wear patterns and grease stains in the concrete kinda changed my mind. It's humbling to realize how much skill and work happened in those empty spaces.
