Spent $400 on a smart thermostat that ended up costing me more
My electric bill went up $30 last month because the 'learning' schedule kept cranking the AC when I wasn't home. Anyone know a better system that actually saves money?

Honestly, that learning curve can be rough. @eva_adams68 has a point about manual being reliable, but once you tweak the settings it usually works itself out.

What's the point of a smart thermostat if it's dumber than a regular one? I just set mine manually now.
