TIL the dented can bin at my Kroger in Dayton is basically a 50% off aisle
I grabbed 6 cans of beans for $2.10 total last Tuesday and every single one was fine inside. Who else shops the clearance cart first before even looking at the regular shelves?
Dented cans are just one piece of it. The whole store is set up so you walk in and grab the priciest stuff first, and the deals get tucked in the back corner where you have to hunt for them. Once you figure that out, you stop trusting the front of the store and start working it backwards. Been shopping like that for years and my grocery bill barely moved even with prices going up.
